RE: Found a used boat

Wanted to get down there and see it, but couldn't get off from work early enough to make the run. This guy didn't need to be out to start with. Coast Guard saved him once from killing himself, then he runs aground making a sandwich!! Nice salvage job though...

RE: DO NOT BUY FROM BEAUDRY RV

I alway felt that facts were a lot more help to me than rants. This is why folks that post become the target instead of the dealer....JMO

RE: Buying my first class a

Rc we have a Infinity and are really enjoying it. I have had a overheating problem with mine, but was taken care of with a new clutchfan. You might look in the engine compartment from the front access and make sure the rubber airdam is in good shape. Mine was in pieces and it is hard to replace and a little pricey. It is made out of a thin rubber and just falls apart with time. Good luck and enjoy.

RE: LCD TV Mount

When we had our C I bought one from Sam's Club and I believe it was only $45.00. A lot cheaper than anywhere else we looked. If you use a bracket like this you will have to strap the TV to the wall to secure it during travel. We had a 29" and it would move around without it.

RE: Hot water heater

Mine has a reset button on the hot waterheater. It is under a black rubber square that if you didn't know what it was you would never find it. You just push on the rubber and the button is behind it and will reset. Mine had the lettering wore off and it and it took me for ever to find it.

RE: Newbie In Waiting

I wouldn't worry about parts. Most things that break can be found at outher dealers or RV parts stores. I must say, when you jump in you do it right. Good luck with your coach..

RE: My Eagle Cap 1160 (Lots of Pics)

I had a TC back in the early 70's, but I don't remember it looking like that! I can't believe how far they have come. Great rig and great shots of it.

RE: Ideas for replacing bedroom tv-in corner cabinet

One more thought. If you are set on a flat screen why not make or buy a door that will fit the hole that the TV is in and then mount the flat screen to it. That way you would have a solid mount plus the storage!

RE: Ideas for replacing bedroom tv-in corner cabinet

I had a 19" in a corner cabinet and replaced it with a new 20" "flat screen" digital tube type if that makes any sense. Like an old style TV,but flat on front. It was perfect on width, but about 1.5 inches short on top. I found a piece of 2" wood trim in one of the cabinets, still don't know where it came from, and cut it to fill in the space and it looks like factory except the latest technology. Total cost $132.00:)

RE: Picking up new Class C ....

I would buy a good sewer hose. Something like a Rhino is great. This is one idem that you don't want to go cheap on.

RE: Doghouse is Stuck Closed

Mine gets hard to remove from the gasket fitting so tight. Can you get to it from below? My A has enough room from below where I could give it a wack if needed to pop it off. Take a 2x4 or something simular and give it a good poke from below. It's good that they fit so tight, but it can be a pain in the butt..
